Dr. Kevin Doyle was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. where he attended the University of Victoria and attained his undergraduate degree in Chemistry. Following this he attended the University of British Columbia where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Doyle is an active member of his dental community and continues to expand his knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. He regularly attends courses and continuing education and is an active participant in a number of clinical study clubs. He is committed to promoting excellence in dentistry through his involvement in clinical study clubs and continuing dental education programs.
Dental Organizations and AssociationsDr. Kevin Doyle is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Doyle holds a keen interest and expertise in Evidence Based Dentistry. He is a graduate of the Oxford University Evidence Based Health Care Certificate program and is a past council member of the Canadian Collaboration on Clinical Practice Guidelines. He is the founder and past president of The Academy of R. V. Tucker Study Club #10, an organization teaching conservative gold restoration techniques.
Dr. Danielle Coulson is originally from Lantzville B.C. Dr.Coulson grew up on the island and is happy to have moved back to the place she calls home. Dr. Coulson began her education at the University of Victoria, where she studied biochemistry/microbiology. This stemmed an interest in scientific research, and allowed her to work in research in both Edmonton and Winnipeg before beginning dentistry. Following this Dr. Coulson attended the University of British Columbia dental school where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Coulson's passion for dental health and education has allowed her to be a part of many community outreach programs and UBC study clubs. She has volunteered to provide dental services to those in need both locally at the UBC clinic and Vancouver area, as well as internationally in Peru and Honduras. Dr. Coulson's interest in continued education has led her to become a member of the Island Pursuit of Dental Excellence study group.
Dr. Renata Kutsankina is a general dentist at Health First Dentistry. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 2013. Dr. Renata is a certified botulinum toxin injections provider (aka Dysport, Botox). She completed extensive hands-on anatomy-based training at the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics and Therapeutics. Dr. Kutsankina is originally from Ukraine where she practiced dentistry before moving to Canada. She speaks English, Ukrainian and Russian.
Sandra Alderdice graduated from the Vancouver Community College Dental Hygiene Program in 2008. She discovered her love of the dental field at an early age while growing up in a family of dentists in Mexico City. She became a dentist and graduated from the faculty of dentistry at the Universidad Latinoamericana in the year 2000. Soon after graduating she met her Canadian husband and moved to BC. She was thrilled to discover the Dental Hygiene Profession and decided to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist. It gave her the opportunity to meet a variety of people whom she can help improve and maintain optimum periodontal health. Plus, she considers herself very lucky to work with a group of talented, hard-working, and amazing people. Besides work, Sandra loves cooking, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying all the beauty Vancouver Island has to offer.
